BRIGANDINE ABYSS Editions and Demo
Standard, Deluxe, Limited, Steam extras, and a demo whose saves do not carry over.
BRIGANDINE ABYSS ships as a $49.99 Standard game with optional Deluxe and Limited packages and two Steam extras that do not change the war. Adglobe developed it. Happinet and NIS America publish it. Steam launched August 26, 2026; Switch 2, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S launched August 27, 2026. Xbox is digital-only. Every paid SKU is still single-player Story Mode and Mission Mode. You are not buying a story expansion or a second campaign that is not in the box.
The continent is Meltitea. The Brigandine was forged by Lunadea and once stopped Abyssloa. Two hundred years later Solginat is the superpower until Chaossolus steals the armor. That plot is in every edition. What changes is art, music discs, pins, and whether you hold a PS5 disc or a Switch 2 Game Key Card. For dates and staff, use Release. For how the war plays, use How to Play.
Standard — $49.99
Standard is the full game. Story Mode: six campaigns — Gran Dragnica (Largo, dragon tamers), Scarlet Will (Garnet, unicorn mercenaries), Mysteine the Queendom (Zeilzarde, Lunadea’s will), Purifanoe (Alicebelle, fairies), the Samura Clan (Saya), and Pandemyuon (TYPE-F, chimeras). Mission Mode: all 24 nations from the start, unique win conditions, typically 99 seasons. Difficulty Easy, Normal, Hard. Hex combat with Rally, Command Points, and class change rules. Save anytime. Steam Cloud and achievements on PC.
If you only want to play, Standard is the SKU. Deluxe and Limited add presentation items, not extra nations. Game Modes compares Story and Mission. Story campaigns and the faction overview name the six. Mission Mode covers the 24-nation sandbox.
Deluxe — Switch 2 and PS5 digital
Deluxe is a digital bundle on Switch 2 and PlayStation 5. It includes a mini art book and a digital soundtrack. It is not a different executable with extra maps. If you are on Steam, Deluxe as described here is not the PC path; Steam sells the soundtrack and artbook separately (see below). If you are on Xbox, remember the platform is digital-only Standard unless a store page later lists a bundle this wiki has not been given.
The mini art book and digital soundtrack are the confirmed Deluxe extras. Do not invent extra classes, extra Mission nations, or a day-one story chapter that only Deluxe owners receive.
Limited Edition — $89.99
Limited Edition is $89.99. Physical form is a PS5 disc or a Switch 2 Game Key Card. The bundle includes Art from the Abyss (artbook), Anthems of War (OST), Storied Figures acrylic stands, a Faction Symbol pin set, and a Cloth Map of Meltitea. Those objects sit on a desk. They do not alter Command Points, Rally, or Mission win conditions.
A Game Key Card is not a full ROM cart; it is the Switch 2 physical SKU named for this Limited run. A PS5 disc is the other physical path. Xbox has no Limited disc in the confirmed list. If you want the cloth map of Meltitea in your hands, this is the edition that lists it.
Steam extras — not gameplay DLC
Steam sells a Digital Soundtrack for $12.99 and a Digital Artbook for $9.99. They are extras. They are not a story expansion. They do not add a seventh campaign, a twenty-fifth Mission nation, or a Rally rework. Buy them if you want Kondoh’s score and the art on a screen. Skip them if you only want hexes.
Music in the game is by Rei Kondoh. Producer Masaru Saito, director Makoto Yamamoto, story Izuru Matsuno, character design Junko Kawano and Niji Hayashi, supervisor Masayuki Horikawa. The OST and artbook are how those credits leave the pause menu.
No announced story expansions exist. If a patch ships, it will be listed on Updates, not as a paid campaign.
Demo — first two seasons, no transfer
The demo is the first two seasons of Gran Dragnica and Scarlet Will. It is free practice for Organization, Attack, and Invasion. Demo saves do not transfer. That is the line that decides whether the demo is a trial or a trap. It is a trial of the loop, not a head start. After two seasons you start a new file on Standard, Deluxe, or Limited.
Use the demo to test Controls: a pad, or PC mouse and keyboard, Switch 2’s locked 30fps, PC 1.01’s frame-rate caps and edge-scroll. Do not spend demo mercenaries as if they will be waiting in the full campaign. Mercenaries who lose are gone forever even in the full game; the demo just also throws away the file.
Which SKU to buy
Buy Standard if you want the war. Buy Deluxe on Switch 2 or PS5 digital if you want the mini art book and digital soundtrack in the same checkout. Buy Limited if you want the $89.99 physical bundle: artbook, Anthems of War, acrylic stands, pins, cloth map. Buy Steam soundtrack and artbook if you are on PC and want those two extras without a console Deluxe tag.
Then play. How to Play is the season loop. Rally and combat tips are Invasion. Base building and quests and training are Organization. Classes and monster summoning are the roster. The tier list and review help after a campaign. The Guides hub is everything else.
